Primary School Art Teacher

We are looking for a Primary School Art Teacher for a bilingual school located in Beijing. This position is available from August 2027 for the 2027/28 academic year.

Job details

• Teach Art to primary school students, making every lesson engaging and enriching
• Introduce a range of media and techniques, from drawing and painting to collage and clay
• Plan and deliver lessons, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
• Monitor student progress and set targets so every learner can improve
• Give clear, constructive feedback to students and parents
• Work with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the curriculum
• Create a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Bachelor's degree or above in Art, Fine Art or a related subject
• At least 2 years as a lead classroom teacher, ideally in a bilingual setting
• Recognised teaching qualification
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting
