Art Teacher

We are looking for an Art Teacher for a bilingual school located in Beijing. This position is available for an immediate start for the 2026/27 academic year.

About the school

This is a Chinese-American bilingual school in Beijing offering K-12 education through a Chinese-American programme and a British Cambridge programme across its kindergarten, primary and secondary divisions. Classes are small and the school runs regular weekday hours, giving teachers a structured and supportive environment.

Job details

• Teach Art subject including foundational drawing and painting to primary and middle school students
• Plan lessons, design and mark assessments, and write report comments
• Monitor student progress and set clear targets so every learner can improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and parents
• Work with fellow teachers to develop and enhance the art curriculum
• Create a supportive, safe and engaging learning environment

Requirements

• Excellent spoken and written English
• Bachelor's degree or above in Art, Fine Art, Design or a related subject
• Valid teaching certificate
• At least 2 years of previous teaching experience
• Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum preferred
• Enthusiastic, responsible, and a strong team player in a multicultural setting
