Westview International Language School is excited to announce a vacancy for the position of Lab Technician for the academic year 2026-2027 at our prestigious network of educational institutions. The Lab Technician will play a crucial role in supporting science education by managing laboratory resources and assisting with practical experiments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials in readiness for practical classes and experiments.
• Support science teachers with laboratory demonstrations and experiments.
• Ensure the laboratory complies with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain accurate stock records of laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Clean laboratory spaces and properly dispose of laboratory waste.
• Report any faults or damages to laboratory equipment promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous laboratory experience in an educational setting is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication skills to effectively assist teachers and students.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
