David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an Audio-Visual Manager for their offices in Iasi, Romania.

Position: Audio-Visual Manager

Location: Iasi, Romania

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, configure, and test new equipment and technical systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in production, broadcasting, and interactive media.
  • Set up, monitor, and manage audio-visual and communication links between locations or units.
  • Diagnose and repair technical issues in equipment and systems to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Implement quick and effective contingency measures to maintain uninterrupted service during equipment failures.
  • Operate and manage equipment and transmission systems for live or remote productions.
  • Design and install custom circuits, hardware, and integrated audio-visual systems.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of technical infrastructure and workflows.
  • Adhere to and promote best practices in workplace health and safety.
  • Interpret and execute technical or creative instructions from project leads and stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional networking.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
  • In-depth understanding of imaging, photography, and video production principles (e.g., aperture, exposure, ISO, and lens operations).
  • Hands-on experience in electronic engineering, broadcast systems, or communication technologies.
  • Proficiency in camera operation, video switchers, and live production workflows.
  • Familiarity with chroma keying, signal routing, and SDI infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues creatively.
  • Excellent IT literacy and project management abilities.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production environments.
  • Ability to remain composed and perform well under pressure.
  • Adequate color vision and hearing to meet technical role requirements.
