Our Academic Medical Center has expanded to meet the inpatient psychiatric care needs of adolescent patients in our rural New England region. Our six-bed Adolescent Medical Psychiatric Care unit provides specialized, patient-and-family centered care for adolescents ages 12-17. The interdisciplinary team supports patients through comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, psychiatric care, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and family therapy.
