  • About the Role

Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is hiring a part-time, fully remote University Admissions Counselor for its US Diploma campus. You will guide a caseload of about 200 students in Grades 9 to 12 (Years 10 to 13), from choosing high school courses through applying to universities anywhere in the world.

CGA students live across many countries and time zones, so this role suits a counselor who is confident advising on US, UK and international pathways and who enjoys working flexibly with a global team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet regularly one on one with students on your caseload to plan their academic path, activities and university goals.
  • Teach the Future Ready curriculum, CGA's college and career readiness lessons delivered online.
  • Help students choose courses each year that shape a strong high school record and support their university plans.
  • Guide students in choosing clubs and activities that match their interests and goals.
  • Help students research universities and build balanced college lists.
  • Support students through the full application process for universities worldwide, including the Common App, the University of California application and UCAS.
  • Track application deadlines and requirements for every student and keep them on schedule.
  • Write counselor recommendation letters and submit school documents for your students.
  • Communicate with families about their student's progress, plans and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree (minimum), preferably from a top 10 university (Ivy League background ideal). 2. At least 5 years of experience in college counseling and university admissions advising. 3. At least 3 years of experience with the UK curriculum and A Levels, including how subject choices and results support students' university goals. 4. Experience supporting students with international university admissions. 5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines for a caseload of approximately 200 students. 6. Comfortable working remotely and communicating effectively with students, families, and colleagues across different time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NCAA advising for student athletes, including eligibility and college placement.
  • Knowledge of the University of California (UC) application, requirements and deadlines.
  • Experience supporting UCAS applications to UK universities.

Schedule and Work Details

  • Position Type: Part-time
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Working Hours: 25 hours per week (Flexible)
  • Hourly Rate: USD $35-$45
  • Start Date: 1 December 2026
  • Reports To: Lead Academic and Enrichment Counselor
  • Additional Requirements: As CGA students are based across multiple time zones, some early morning or evening availability will be required for student meetings and classes.
