About the Job: Comfrt is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across our rapidly growing business. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, hands-on finance professional with strong FP A; capabilities and strong accounting fundamentals.

Reporting to the Director of FP A;, this individual will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of key FP A; activities, including financial reporting, forecast preparation, expense tracking, and variance analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with Accounting and cross-functional partners to ensure financial information is accurate and complete, investigate performance drivers, and surface meaningful insights for review.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budget schedules, and supporting financial analyses.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting and analyze results against forecast, budget, and prior year.
• Perform detailed variance analysis, investigate underlying drivers, and provide clear explanations of significant variances, trends, risks, and opportunities for review.
• Maintain financial models, reporting schedules, and supporting analyses.
• Review general ledger activity, understand the accounting behind financial results, and partner with Accounting to investigate discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain department-level expense tracking and forecasts, including gathering inputs from cross-functional partners.
• Prepare P L;, KPI, and management reporting with clear commentary on key business drivers.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support business needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of FP A; reporting and processes.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in FP A;, corporate finance, accounting, or a combination of finance and accounting roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong accounting fundamentals, including a thorough understanding of financial statements, general ledger activity, accruals, account classifications, and the monthly close process.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, including the ability to work efficiently with large and detailed datasets.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and business intelligence tools; QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly summarize financial findings and key takeaways.
• Experience in ecommerce, retail, consumer products, or a high-growth DTC environment is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to independently complete analyses, identify when something doesn't look right, and dig into the details to understand why.
• Analytical and curious, with a desire to understand the story behind the numbers.
• Comfortable working with detailed financial data and following an issue through to resolution.
• Organized and dependable, with the ability to manage recurring deliverables and multiple priorities.
• Collaborative and comfortable working across Finance, Accounting, and other business functions.
• Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where processes continue to evolve.
