Proposal and Contract Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages and compiles all specifications to ensure that proposals and contracts, including change orders are forwarded to sales staff or clients/prospective clients in a timely manner
  • Enters work orders and subsequent change orders into the contact database
  • Works within CSM guidelines and pricing structures provided to develop proposals
  • Participates in work order review meetings with applicable resources and participates in project management meetings as needed
  • Performs timely follow-up and maintains an up to date contact database
  • Compiles and updates information for pricing and company guidelines for sales contracts
  • Partners with sales as needed for formal presentations to ensure thorough client understanding of work order proposal
  • Participates in various team meetings with sales team, marketing team, and operations team in order to learn and contribute
  • Takes responsibility for personal skill development in continuing to learn current pharmaceutical standards and industry trends
  • To follow, promote and enforce relevant SOPs, Job Aids, and Company policies and procedures
  • Performs other related job duties or responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in detail-oriented work environment
  • High School diploma (CESS) or Bachelor’s degree
  • An understanding and background in clinical trial principles and processes strongly preferred as well as in sales and business development
  • Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast pace environment
  • Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills and the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
  • Confidentiality of all client information
  • Fluent in English
  • Highly computer literate; experience operating with all Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to operate office equipment (telephone, calculator, photocopier, fax, and scanning machines)
