Strategic Project Lead, Demand Side

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the demand-side team at an early-stage AI talent marketplace, where you will lead how companies discover, adopt, and succeed with the service. This hands-on role combines go-to-market strategy with direct execution, and offers the opportunity to build repeatable growth processes while helping improve the marketplace.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own company acquisition from prospecting and initial outreach through client onboarding and activation.
• Build trusted relationships with founders, executives, and talent leaders at high-growth startups.
• Understand hiring needs and translate them into effective searches on the marketplace.
• Generate qualified demand through outbound, referrals, partnerships, events, and content.
• Personally execute outreach, including cold calls and tailored email and LinkedIn campaigns.
• Experiment with messaging, channels, customer segments, and commercial models.
• Turn successful experiments into measurable, repeatable processes.
• Work with talent and product teams to improve matching quality, client experience, and marketplace liquidity.
• Track the demand funnel, identify bottlenecks, and improve conversion at each stage.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial, consulting, operations, or growth role.
• Experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment, such as a venture-backed startup, consulting, investment banking, or venture capital.
• Documented achievements from prior startup work.
• Strong written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort moving between GTM strategy and hands-on execution, from designing an approach to sending the first 100 messages.
