Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a foundational engineering role at an early-stage B2B SaaS company building AI-powered integration infrastructure for supply chain connectivity. You will own core systems end-to-end, make architectural decisions that shape the product, and establish the engineering patterns the team will build on for years to come.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and build purpose-specific AI coding agents from scratch to automate supply chain integrations.
• Develop and maintain core infrastructure for hosting and running integrations, effectively a self-contained integrations runtime platform.
• Own systems end-to-end, from the agent platform to the integrations runtime, with full architectural authority.
• Establish engineering patterns and practices that will define the team's future direction.
• Work across both the agentic AI side and the complex, heavy infrastructure side of the product.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2 to 5 years of software engineering experience, with a total range up to 8 years considered.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern full-stack product development.
• Hands-on experience building with AI agents and LLMs using current, production-grade patterns.
• Track record of shipping and owning complex software products end-to-end at a fast-moving startup.
• Experience at a VC-backed startup, ideally from seed through Series A or B.
• Demonstrated technical depth through shipped software systems, not just side work.
• Strong CS or engineering fundamentals, whether from a degree or equivalent work experience.
• Founding or early-stage engineering experience building 0 to 1 at a high-caliber startup is a strong plus.
• High-agency side projects, especially agentic tools or launched products, are a meaningful signal.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: $150,000 to $300,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

LOCATION

Fully remote within the United States, with San Francisco, CA as the primary anchor location.
