Senior Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

A role on a hospitality focused AI platform team responsible for building and maintaining end to end AI systems. You will own substantial parts of the stack and work with a flat team to ship impactful features that improve guest interactions and operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and implement the response generation and orchestration pipeline for AI agents.
• Develop and ground knowledge retrieval to ensure accurate and current data in conversations.
• Build tool orchestration layers for multi step workflows and handle third party API failures gracefully.
• Create evaluation frameworks and observability controls to monitor quality and reliability.
• Collaborate on interfaces that allow non technical stakeholders to adjust agent behavior.
• Extend systems to voice conversations including real time transcription and tool use.
• Optimize for speed and cost through routing, caching, and prompt refinement.
• Own infrastructure, data pipelines, integrations, and API work that underpin the platform.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and a track record of shipping production systems
• Experience across full stack and comfort solving problems across backend, frontend, data pipelines or infrastructure
• Strong background in retrieval pipelines, knowledge grounding, or multi step workflows
• Familiarity with AI model selection, routing, prompt optimization, and cost or latency considerations
• Experience building observability, tracing, and debugging for complex pipelines
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Rust, or Java
• Hands on experience integrating with third party APIs and handling production failure modes
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence product decisions

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary range: 130000-220000 USD annually
