Senior Founding Product Engineer
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage team building an AI-native regulatory and product compliance platform for manufacturers and retailers. As a Senior Founding Product Engineer, you will own engineering across the stack, ship product features, and work directly with users to help shape the product direction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the software and infrastructure stack, from frontend and backend development through cloud deployment.
- Turn roadmap priorities into shipped features that deliver value to users.
- Speak with customers to understand their needs and inform product decisions.
- Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as the product grows.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 3 years of full-time software engineering experience and a track record of shipping products to real users.
- Strong product judgment, a user-focused approach, and the ability to develop solutions that address needs across customers.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Experience in early-stage startups and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
- A daily AI-assisted development workflow using AI agents and tools.
- Fluency in German and English; experience with B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI/ML is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual salary range: €80,000 to €90,000.
LOCATION
Hybrid in Munich, Germany, with four days per week on-site.
