Senior Core Systems Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage fintech team building a technology platform for traders. As a Core Systems Engineer, you will develop reliable, performance-sensitive infrastructure that supports trading workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain systems for order handling, risk rules, and ledger functionality.
• Develop low-latency services designed for correctness and dependable performance in production.
• Help scale core systems under real-world production load.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 8 years of systems engineering experience and strong software fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Rust or strong C++ skills; experience with both is valuable.
• Experience building low-latency, correctness-critical systems, such as trading, payments, exchanges, or similar infrastructure.
• Background in trading, financial markets, fintech, or related domains is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual base salary range: $100,000 to $250,000 USD. Meaningful equity is offered. Visa sponsorship is available.

Remote, with the primary location in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
