Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-stack, end-to-end ownership role at a seed-funded construction tech startup building autonomous agents for some of Europe's largest general contractors. You will take a problem from hypothesis all the way to a fully deployed, production-ready system, owning the agent logic, backend, frontend, and direct customer iteration. It is a rare opportunity to shape an emerging product category in a technically complex, high-impact industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, build, and ship complete autonomous agents that operate inside operationally complex enterprise environments.
• Own end-to-end product initiatives, including procurement automation (material orders from requisition to posted invoice) and contract management tooling (real-time visibility across active contracts).
• Drive the full lifecycle from backend and frontend development through to live customer deployment and iteration.
• Collaborate directly with customers to validate solutions and refine product direction.
• Identify and pursue your own high-value platform opportunities with full mandate and support to execute.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3 or more years of engineering experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up, with shipped products you genuinely owned end-to-end.
• Full proficiency in both German and English, spoken and written (required).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, NestJS, and React for production systems.
• Demonstrated experience designing and building autonomous or semi-autonomous software systems.
• Track record of taking software from zero to production deployment.
• Comfort working directly with customers to iterate and validate product solutions.
• Experience with Flutter for mobile development is a plus.
• Familiarity with GCP and Hasura or GraphQL APIs is a plus.
• Background in construction, logistics, or other operationally complex industries is a plus.
• Founder or entrepreneurial experience is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: 80,000 to 120,000 EUR annually, plus equity options. Relocation support to Munich is available. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
