Principal Product Manager, AI Platform

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a high-impact role at the center of a strategic shift toward an AI-first operating model, sitting within a small, focused team rebuilding core business operations around AI. You will move the organization away from manual processes and third-party tools toward an owned, intelligent platform, serving a broad client base across diverse industries.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Identify critical operational problems, design solutions, and prototype them using AI tools against real-world data.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to productionize prototypes into reliable, scalable systems.
• Define measurable metrics for complex operational issues and develop AI-driven solutions to address them.
• Own the development of a sophisticated decision engine, replacing vendor reporting with a tailored internal platform serving varied user needs.
• Drive product judgment for closed-loop attribution systems that connect client actions to revenue outcomes.
• Navigate the complexity of building a single platform that serves multiple distinct business units and industries.
• Report directly to senior product and technology leadership, with a clear escalation path for high-stakes decisions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Proven track record of identifying complex operational problems and designing AI-driven solutions, rather than managing pre-defined roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping working software prototypes or tools using AI coding tools.
• Deep understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including how to design robust systems that account for real-world failure modes and edge cases.
• Strong systems thinking, with an ability to reason about second-order effects, blast radius, and long-term architectural implications.
• Experience designing platform solutions that serve diverse user needs across multiple industries or client types, balancing shared components with configurable elements.
• Demonstrated ability to define complex operational problems in measurable terms and validate solutions with data.
• Experience designing or building decision engines, reporting tools, or closed-loop attribution systems is a strong plus.
• Excellent written communication skills, able to make complex decisions clear and concise in short-form documents.
• Comfort operating autonomously in ambiguous problem spaces within a small, self-directed team.
• Background in marketing services or multi-industry platform products is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: $160,000 to $230,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
