Founding Marketing Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Founding Marketing Lead, you will build and run the marketing function at a B2B startup. Working closely with founders and product teams, you will create campaigns, launch products, and develop content that supports pipeline and revenue growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Plan and execute campaigns across email, social, website, events, partnerships, and paid channels.
• Create and distribute newsletters, founder content, customer stories, videos, webinars, blog posts, and social content.
• Coordinate product launches across customer-facing channels with Product Marketing.
• Organize webinars, dinners, conferences, and customer events from planning through follow-up.
• Turn founder ideas, customer conversations, and market insights into compelling content.
• Develop campaign concepts and create assets independently or with freelance and agency support.
• Build and optimize landing pages, campaign pages, and conversion journeys.
• Test new formats, partnerships, and distribution channels, then scale what works.
• Measure how marketing activities contribute to attention, pipeline, and revenue.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 3 years of marketing experience in a B2B startup or scaleup.
• Excellent German and English writing skills, with the ability to turn rough ideas into polished copy.
• Experience executing campaigns across multiple channels and creating a range of content formats.
• Experience with product launches, event planning, landing pages, and conversion journeys.
• Comfort using AI tools for research, writing, design, automation, and analysis.
• Strong creative judgment, a hands-on approach, and a commercial focus on customer acquisition and growth.
• Ability to work autonomously, move quickly, and track the business impact of marketing work.
