Core Systems Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage fintech team building an AI-powered trading platform. You will develop the reliable, performance-sensitive infrastructure that supports trading workflows and helps make sophisticated trading more accessible.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and improve order-handling systems, risk rules, and ledger infrastructure.
• Scale low-latency systems to perform reliably under production load.
• Apply systems engineering practices to correctness-critical financial workflows.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• At least 8 years of systems engineering experience and strong software fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Rust or strong C++ skills; experience with both is a plus.
• Experience building low-latency, performance-sensitive, correctness-critical systems beyond web or CRUD backends.
• Background in trading, payments, exchanges, fintech, or related financial markets is a plus.
• Experience with order management, risk engines, or ledgers is valued.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary range is $100,000 to $250,000 USD annually. The role includes meaningful equity. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

Remote, with Munich, Bavaria, Germany as the primary location.
