Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Field Technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous
  • improvement.
  • Oversee daily Technology Group operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
  • Plan, prioritize, and allocate resources to support business needs, project objectives, and service delivery requirements.
  • Develop and manage Technology Group budgets, forecasts, and spending plans, ensuring effective financial performance and alignment with business priorities.
  • Ensure controlled onboarding, transfers, and offboarding processes, including access, accounts, licenses, and asset recovery.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for end-user support, infrastructure, networking, and job site technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with business partners and Technology Group teams to develop IT estimates, project plans, and technology recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Advanced technical certifications and prior leadership experience in IT operations, field support, or infrastructure management are preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including field support and end-user services. 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical support personnel.
  • Experience with IT operations, vendor management, equipment inventory, procurement, budget management and forecasting, service management, IT governance, incident management, and business continuity planning.
  • Experience supporting job site technology deployments, mobilizations, and infrastructure changes preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT service management and ticketing systems (Service Now)
  • Asset and inventory management systems - Remote support and collaboration tools
