ER Technician

Main Functions:

• The Emergency Room Technician provides direct, basic patient care activities under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Handles the care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment.
• Establishes and maintains open lines of communication with the Registered

Nurse and other members of the healthcare team.

• Records and reports pertinent observations regarding patients to the Registered

Nurse (as example: vital signs, I&O, accu-check, skin condition)
