What you'll do

As a QA Engineer, you will help ensure the quality, reliability and usability of our SaaS platform across web, mobile and API services.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse requirements to develop manual and automation tests for web apps, mobile apps and APIs.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to understand features, identify risks and build quality into the development process.
• Develop and maintain reliable automated test suites for functional, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate and execute automated tests within a CI/CD environment.
• Perform manual and automated testing on new releases to ensure they meet defined quality standards.
• Investigate test failures and defects and provide clear, meaningful bug reports.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation and QA processes.

What we’re looking for

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in software QA engineering, testing web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and devices.
• Strong demonstrable test automation experience using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium or other similar tools.
• Experience with API and integration testing, including REST APIs, JSON and authentication.
• Strong understanding of functional, integration, system, regression and exploratory testing.
• Experience of working in an agile/scrum development environment.
• Proficiency in QA and software development tools including Jira, Git, Xray and Postman.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, with a disciplined and methodical approach to testing.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive mindset that is always looking to drive innovation and efficiencies in the QA process

Advantageous

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with QA/test processes for embedded devices
• Performance/load testing experience using JMeter or similar tools.
