Building Maintenance Handyman – Brooklyn Residential Community

Position Summary

The Handyman / Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, functionality, and overall condition of the property. This role supports daily building operations, residential maintenance, preventive maintenance, apartment turnover, and resident service by responding to work orders, completing repairs, preparing vacant apartments for occupancy, and maintaining common areas and building systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in residential building maintenance, apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or property maintenance and is comfortable performing a variety of general repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance troubleshooting, locks, safety equipment, and general building repairs .

This position requires someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, customer-service oriented, and able to work independently while prioritizing maintenance requests and building needs.
