To maintain the Age-Specific competence of all members of the Respiratory Care staff by:

a. Creating a formal in-service Age-Specific competency program b. Educating the Respiratory Care staff in the latest therapies and equipment c. Certifying Respiratory Therapists' knowledge of new equipment and procedures d. Certifying Respiratory Care staffs' Age-Specific competence in all equipment, therapy and modalities in use at BronxCare Health System.
