Timber Cutter / Forestry Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting all groundwork operations as directed by the crew leader
• Handling, processing, and managing branches and timber on active work sites
• Assisting with traffic management to ensure a safe working environment for both team members and the public
• Operating machinery and powered equipment safely and effectively
• Competently using a woodchipper and other tools as required

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Safe Pass & Manual Handling (Required)
• Full, clean driving license (Required)
• NPTC Chainsaw certification (Required)
• Polesaw, Chipper & Climbing Certification (any or all preferred)
• Experience as a skilled labourer
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team
• Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
