Travel should feel exciting. Instead, too much of it is still defined by paperwork, uncertainty, and processes that were never designed for travellers.

We’re building an AI-first platform that removes friction and uncertainty from travel. To date, we’ve processed visas for 1M+ travellers across 127 countries. But we’re still early.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Motion Designer to own motion and interaction design across the Atlys app and website.

You'll work with Product Designers, PMs and Engineers to make Atlys feel intuitive, responsive and premium.

This is a high-ownership role. You'll own motion from concept to final QA, making Atlys feel like a product designed to move rather than one with animations added afterward.

THE JOB

• Bring product experiences to life. Turn static Figma designs into full interactions, including transitions, micro-interactions, gestures, and loading, success and error states.
• Simplify complex flows. Use motion to make visa applications, status changes and payments easier to understand, starting early in each feature.
• Own the Atlys Motion Library. Build reusable patterns, motion principles and haptics guidelines that give Atlys a consistent motion language.
• Partner with Engineering to ship it right. Write specs engineers can build, choose the right format (native, CSS, Lottie or video) and keep animations lightweight.
• Own product storytelling. Lead motion for product videos, launches and landing pages that show Atlys' value quickly.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’ll likely thrive in this role if you:

• Have 3–5 years of motion or interaction design experience in a tech company or similarly fast-moving digital product environment.
• Have a strong portfolio of product UI motion (not just marketing or brand animation) that shows how motion improves usability and communicates state.
• Are highly proficient in Figma and at least one motion or prototyping tool (After Effects, Rive, ProtoPie, Jitter), have hands-on experience with Lottie, and understand web and native (iOS/Android) constraints.
• Can build and maintain a motion system, and document it so designers and engineers actually use it.
• Communicate motion decisions clearly, push back when motion can fundamentally improve the UX, and spot opportunities without waiting to be asked.
