ABOUT YOU

Are you a dedicated people leader with a background in finance applications? ARCO is hiring a Technology Product Manager with our Finance Applications team. This is an opportunity to influence how we work, modernize critical applications, and build a team that turns business needs into meaningful improvements. You’ll partner directly with Finance and Technology leaders, guide investment decisions, and balance reliable daily operations with long-term innovation. If you enjoy developing people, solving complex business challenges, and bringing structure to a growing technology portfolio, we’d love to hear from you.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Set the direction: Own the strategy, roadmap, and priorities for ARCO’s financial applications, including Vista by Viewpoint, payroll integrations, AP/AR tools, and related platforms.
  • Partner with business leaders: Translate Finance, Accounting, and Payroll needs into clear priorities, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead and develop your team: Coach Product Leads, Product Owners, and Specialists; establish clear ownership and expectations; and build capabilities through development and cross-training.
  • Create a consistent approach to delivery: Establish effective intake, prioritization, backlog management, and Agile practices that balance planned improvements with operational support.
  • Strengthen application performance: Guide incident resolution, address recurring issues, and improve system reliability, integration performance, data quality, and support processes.
  • Protect critical operations: Partner with Technology and business teams to maintain appropriate access controls, testing, business approvals, and production change practices, particularly for financial and payroll systems.
  • Manage vendors and investments: Oversee vendor performance, licensing, renewals, and portfolio planning; evaluate opportunities to improve, replace, or retire applications.
  • Communicate progress and results: Use practical metrics and regular leadership reviews to highlight roadmap progress, service performance, risks, and decisions requiring alignment.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Seven or more years of experience in product management, enterprise applications, business systems, or technology leadership, including experience leading people or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing financial, ERP, payroll, reporting, or other business-critical applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to build product strategies and roadmaps, prioritize competing needs, and balance operational support with planned delivery.
  • Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar delivery methods, including backlog and capacity management.
  • Working knowledge of application integrations, data flows, security, access controls, testing, and production change management in control-sensitive environments.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, licensing, budgets, and application lifecycle decisions.
  • Strong business partnership, communication, coaching, and decision-making skills, with the ability to build trust and hold teams accountable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Preferred knowledge with Vista by Viewpoint or other construction-industry systems, and familiarity with accounting, payroll, or project-based business processes.
  • ServiceNow or a comparable platform for demand, service, and change management.
  • Application modernization or experience building an application management or shared-services function.
  • Relevant product management, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, or ITIL certification.
