We work directly with different industries including Automotive, Energy, Aeronautics, Banking & Insurance, Telecom & Multimedia, and Rail; offering services ranging from project design development to test/validation, programming, implementation, and manufacturing.

ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, we are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers with strong experience in battery systems, electromechanical product design, and manufacturing support . The main focus is on the supporting sustaining efforts on the existing product generation (what's shipping at this time to customers). This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on development, CAD excellence, supplier collaboration, and solving complex mechanical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Converting short term Deviations into long term Engineering Change Orders
• Adjusting drawings per supplier feedback
• Design changes to address field failures or manufacturing inefficiencies
• Design updates/documentation changes to lower product cost

Requirements

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Engineering degree: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace .
• 6+ years of product design experience.
• Experience with batteries, energy storage, EV, or PCBA packaging .
• Strong CAD skills: Onshape, NX, SolidWorks .
• PFMEA, PPAP, DFM experience
• GD&T Standards (ASME Y14.5) and interpretation
• Advanced English.
