1001 Electrical Engineer MID / ADV

ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will contribute to the development of an Iron Air Battery , a large-scale energy storage solution, through the design, development, and validation of the electrical systems of the Iron Air Battery, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

📍 Location: Remote 🕒 Experience Level: 3+ years 🌐 English: B2–C1

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical BOMs and identify lower-cost alternatives.
• Support component selection, specification comparison, and supplier technical reviews.
• Update drawings, schematics, BOMs, interface documentation, and engineering changes.
• Support harness and limited PCBA updates where required.
• Prepare design rationale, technical risks, cost-saving estimates, and validation recommendations.

Requirements

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of electrical, electronics, or mechatronics product-development experience.
• Electrical drawings, schematics, wiring/harness documentation, and engineering change support.
• Experience with engineering drawings, BOMs, component selection, and release documentation.
• Working knowledge of sensors, switches, connectors, harnesses, basic PCBA interface awareness.
• English level B2–C1 .

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Energy Storage Systems, Power Electronics.
• Hands-on experience with corrosive/hight-temperature design
