Digital Transformation Consultant

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.

AlphaGov is seeking a Digital Transformation Consultant to lead enterprise operational-excellence and digital-transformation assessment work for a state government client — evaluating current-state operations, technology maturity, and recommending a practical transformation roadmap.

What you'll do:

• Assess enterprise operations and digital maturity across process, technology, and organizational dimensions
• Identify improvement opportunities and prioritize a transformation roadmap with measurable outcomes
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews and working sessions with agency leadership
• Produce client-ready assessment findings, recommendations, and implementation sequencing
• Contribute digital-transformation qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned

Requirements

Required:

• Digital transformation, IT strategy, or enterprise operational-excellence consulting experience
• Public-sector or large-enterprise assessment / roadmap delivery
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites

Nice to have:

• State-government enterprise architecture or ERP-adjacent advisory experience
• Lean / Six Sigma / operational-excellence credentials
• Prior Louisiana or Deep South state-agency consulting
