Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer at Alber Blanc, you will build internal tools and automate business processes. The role also includes hands-on office IT support and helping employees resolve day-to-day technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop our automation platform, integrations and employee portal.
• Provide hands-on office IT support: set up workstations, maintain meeting room equipment and help employees resolve hardware and software issues.
• Automate onboarding, offboarding, approvals and other HR and administrative processes.
• Administer Slack, ClickUp, BambooHR and other corporate systems, including user access.
• Manage the equipment lifecycle, SaaS licenses and relationships with IT vendors.

Requirements

• Experience developing internal services and integrations using REST APIs, webhooks and SQL.
• Understanding of retries, idempotency, deduplication, database transactions and recovery from partial failures.
• Experience deploying and maintaining services on Linux and administering corporate systems.
• Ability to clarify business requirements and independently deliver working solutions.

• TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker Compose, Linux and AWS EC2

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow engines, Slack bots and AI tools.
• Experience building internal IT services from scratch.
