Bij Airworks ontwerpen en produceren we opblaasbare decorstukken voor wereldberoemde artiesten. Van iconische muziektours en gigantische festivals tot internationale theaterproducties en sportevenementen: onze creaties trekken wereldwijd de aandacht.

Voor ons groeiende Sewing Team zijn wij op zoek naar enthousiaste Sewing Specialists die ons productieteam in Amsterdam willen versterken. Wat ga je doen?

Als Sewing Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor het nauwkeurig naaien van grootschalige, op maat ontworpen textielpatronen volgens technische tekeningen.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Het naaien van patroondelen op industriële naaimachines volgens werkinstructies en technische specificaties.
• Het samenstellen van opblaasbare constructies en andere textiele producten.
• Het voorbereiden, sorteren en organiseren van patroondelen.
• Het uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles tijdens en na productie.
• Het ondersteunen bij tests van nieuwe inflatables.
• Het deelnemen aan project- en productieoverleggen.
• Het schoon, georganiseerd en veilig houden van de studio.
• Het uitvoeren van onderhoud aan naaimachines.

As a Sewing Specialist , you’ll be an essential part of our production team, focusing on the hands-on assembly of large, intricate fabric structures. You’ll collaborate closely with other sewing team members and report directly to our Sewing Leads , ensuring every piece meets our high standards of quality and precision.

Your main responsibilities:

• Sew large-scale, custom-designed fabric patterns with accuracy and consistency
• Operate and care for a variety of industrial sewing machines
• Work with technical fabrics, specialty textiles, and printed materials
• Follow guidance and instructions from Sewing Leads and project documentation
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary production team to meet project deadlines
• Support and coordinate with freelance seamsters/seamstresses during high-volume periods
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
