About the Role We are seeking Oculoplastic Ophthalmologists to provide advanced eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal surgery within a tertiary hospital system. This role combines high-level clinical practice with academic and research contributions, offering the chance to develop innovative oculoplastic services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reconstructive and cosmetic oculoplastic procedures
- Manage orbital disease, trauma, and tear drainage disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncology and ENT
- Train residents and fellows in oculoplastic surgery
- Lead clinical governance, audits, and innovation initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent + subspecialty qualification in Oculoplastics
- Board-certified/eligible Ophthalmologist
- Minimum 7 years’ post-CCT experience for Senior Consultants
- Research and teaching portfolio desirable
