About the Role

We are seeking experienced Consultant Ophthalmologists with expertise in Cataract or Glaucoma to join a major tertiary ophthalmology service in Singapore.

This is an excellent opportunity to deliver advanced ophthalmic care across outpatient, surgical, and emergency settings within a highly regarded healthcare network.

The successful candidate will contribute to clinical service delivery, postgraduate teaching, research, and service development within a world-class clinical and academic environment.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consultant-level ophthalmic care across clinics and theatres
• Provide specialist expertise in Cataract or Glaucoma
• Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures appropriate to subspecialty and experience
• Participate in on-call and emergency ophthalmology services
• Supervise and mentor residents and junior clinicians
• Contribute to CME, audit, research, and service improvement

✅ Candidate Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology, e.g. FRCOphth, MMed, American Board of Ophthalmology , or equivalent
• Recognised advanced specialist training in Ophthalmology
• Subspecialty expertise in Cataract or Glaucoma
• Eligibility for specialist registration in Singapore
• Senior Consultant applicants require substantial post-CCT experience
