QC Inspector - Civil - Project
The QC Inspector – Civil performs inspection and testing of civil construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
SECTION II: Job Analysis
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections on civil works (earthworks, formwork, rebar, concrete).
- Witness concrete pours, compaction tests, and cube/cylinder sampling per the ITP.
- Verify formwork, rebar placement, and dimensions against approved civil drawings.
- Verify materials (concrete mix, rebar) against material certificates and specifications.
- Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
- Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
- Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
- Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
- Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for civil works.
- Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and civil codes.
- Support preparation of quality documentation for civil handover dossiers.

General Profile / Specifications:
- Field-based role requiring daily presence on active civil work fronts
- Exposure to site/construction conditions
- May require shift work or extended hours to cover inspection hold points
